The Engineer and Sister Squint-Eyes wished to be artists. One knew how to use a camera; the other a computer. Together they saw beautiful things in their life but could not reproduce them properly. Neither had the skills of the other.
The unusual collaboration began. The digital camera appeared; simple software allowed the view of the camera to become an image available to both participants.
The pair laughed and danced in amazement as the scales fell from their eyes and the vision seen by one became a reality through the manipulation of the other.
How could this be?
How could another "see" the subtle shadow depth or point of interest that the photographer wished to capture?
Sister Squint-Eyes could not focus a camera, but she saw in her soul the spirit of the image and transferred it to the screen and to paper. Beautiful paper of many grades and textures.
It will be no more. The Engineer left this earth and there are but a few images remaining. These are some of them.
The scales that fell from the eyes of the dragon.
